Frequently Asked

Before you commit.

How long does a new build actually take?+

For a full-custom yacht in the 50-70m range, expect 3-4 years from signed contract to delivery. Semi-custom platforms with a proven hull can move faster, around 24-30 months.

What does Aurelis charge for new-build advisory?+

A fixed advisory fee agreed at the outset, structured around project milestones rather than a percentage of build cost. This keeps our incentives aligned with your budget, not against it.

Can you get us into a yard that's fully booked?+

Often, yes. Relationships built over years mean we frequently know about upcoming slot availability before it's publicly discussed.

Do you supervise construction in person?+

Julian Cole or a delegated technical advisor visits the yard on a recurring schedule throughout construction, with independent reporting back to you, not filtered through the yard's own project manager.
